We had a time sensitive issue that was very complicated. We had another company out the day before and after hours of trying to get the new smart thermostat installed, they eventually gave up. We needed to switch out to a smart thermostat to get a lower kilowatt rate through our electric company. Then we reached out to Big D Mechanical and they were able to arrive within hours of calling them. The current wiring on our thermostat system made this more difficult. Cliff at Big D did an AMAZING job and never gave up! He is a true problem solver and we are thrilled to have our smart thermostat installed and working to be able to get the lower kilowatt rate through our electric company. We recently had Big D Mechanical out for two separate HVAC services and were extremely pleased with the results. The first job involved customized ductwork and problem solving, which they completed efficiently and even faster than expected. The second service was even more impressive with the replacement of a difficult-to-source compressor. They were able to locate the part quickly and had it installed the very next day, which was a huge relief. Throughout both projects, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and very responsive. They took the time to clearly explain the issues and were happy to answer all of my questions—both before the work started and while it was in progress. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for honest and reliable HVAC service.
